Ok, but please let me a question:

Imagine a softswitch receiving an INVITE with From/PAI like this:

  From: "999000111" <sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Now imagine the call is forwarded to a PSTN (ISDN) destination or to a
SIP destination (or whatever handling CID-name/number). The called
device (whatever technology) answers the call and later want to call
back this number through "incoming calls list". Maybe that list shows:
  "999000111" <sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
or:
  "999000222"
or:
  "999000111" <-- I hope this NEVER occurs

I'm 100% sure that the called device, when its user presses on that
entry, will call to 999000222 (this is: received **username**) and
never to 999000111 (received DisplayName).

Can you confirm it? or do you know any case in which this doesn't happen?

PD: AFAIK this is like handling mailto URI's. If you receive a mail with From:
  From: "Bob" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
when you reply that mail the mail client will set "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
as recipient, and never "[EMAIL PROTECTED]".

Regards.
