If a user has requested a privacy option for a PSTN phone then the the caller-id is hidden by default, but a special code can be used to force caller-id to be shown anyway.

In the case the default is no privacy, then yes it is almost the same. `Allan _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [email protected] https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/sip-implementors
