Hi Vivek, It is based on UAC application. UAC application shall start the timer and move the transaction to "terminated" state when the timer expires. Regards Partha

What should happen if no response ( 18X or 2xx or 3xx ) comes back to Invite Client who is in Proceeding state? Should the Invite Client goes back to "Calling" state or should it go to "Terminated" state? I couldn't find this information in rfc 3261. I was wondering if anyone could share some information on this.
