well, this came out all wrong. I had thought Adam was changing the From header field in the authentication server, which would confuse RFC 2543 style gateways. Rather, he is suggesting that SRTP-DTLS compliant gateways add a parameter to their From header field that indicates the identity was received PSTN and should be treated accordingly.
