Hi Russ, I had the same problem. A quick workarround is to use the 1.0.x.code as server side. At the moment we running the code 1.1rc8 as client side and the 1.0.x.code as server side. When check with Wireshark traces made with the 1.0.x.code and 1.1.rc8 code, you will see in the binary part that, the in both traces 0d,0a is send. They generate the /r/n in the message. So the 1.1rc8 code do something with, and the earlier version reject these binairies.
Personaly I think it's a bug. But who am I !
