There is a downside (however small) in pushing people to Java 1.6 if we said we wouldn't do that for this version.
On the upside, what is the penalty if we attempt to support a mix of Java 1.5 and 1.6 users (who will almost all be developers)? What support work depends on the particular version of Java?
