This is what sipXconfig is doing:

The discussion that we have here is not if we are going to be 1.5 
compatible in the next release: we will be (I should say sipXconfig will be)

The issue at hand is: are we going to force upgrade to 1.6 by manipulating 
the "Required" statement of the RPM spec file. I am against it, but I'll live.
