I would like to suggest the creation of > alarm notification groups. This would allow specific users to receive > notification of specific events, for example: > > Diagnostics / Alarms: > Alarm Code | Alarm Title | Severity | Notification Group > --------------------------------------------------------- > SPX00012 | Emergency911 | crit | Group1 > SPX00005 | Login failed | warn | Group2 > SPX00039 | Stray packet | crit | Group2 > > Diagnostics / Alarms / Notification Groups: > Group1: > Users: > 201 > 202 > 203 > Additional email: > [email protected] > Additional SMS: > [email protected] > Additional IM: > [email protected] > > Group2: > Users: > 202 > Additional email: > [email protected] > Additional SMS: > [email protected] > [email protected] > Additional IM: > [email protected] > > Users: > 201 > [email protected] > [email protected] > [email protected] > 202 > [email protected] > [email protected] > 203 > [email protected] > [email protected] > > The ability to specify time-of-day notifications could be added later. >
Dave I really like this idea. Are you suggesting that you could add users to the group which then would use the email address associated with the user? I know the config folks are adding new fields for the users. (XX-5547) If we make sure that includes IM and SMS this would be great. > Dave. > _______________________________________________ > sipx-dev mailing list [email protected] > List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-dev > Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-dev > sipXecs IP PBX -- http://www.sipfoundry.org/ _______________________________________________ sipx-dev mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-dev Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-dev sipXecs IP PBX -- http://www.sipfoundry.org/
