That needs to change.  Alternate should also have email formatting, and

It's actually totally different...it actually uses the IMAP server as a  
storage unit to save and retrieve the messages.  It's truly "unified  
messaging" in that voicemail messages ARE email messages, and the  
voicemail subsystem can read/write directly to it.

I'm not convinced I'd only let IMAP be configured by the admin, but I'm  
okay with that.  Not sure why we wouldn't let the user set it up by  
themselves if that's what they want.
