I got spoiled when Google let me upload my contacts, merge exact duplicates.
Then lets me choose multiple "almost identical contacts" and let me merge
them so easily.

At the same time, I think the user bears some responsibility to make this
"clean" at some point. If they use Outlook, they need to keep it clean
there. They can certainly wipe their sipX address book and do an export from
outlook and import into sipxecs and avoid duplicates altogether, right?

When I screw up my Blackberry, I just RSET my address book and let it reload
from the copy on the server. So a "RSET" or RESET" address book function
would be nice to clear it. Especially when a new user is assigned the line.
