Hi Seshu, Moving the configuration to the Alarms page makes sense. A couple questions though. Firstly, we should in general avoid terms like "Enable" in the label of boolean settings. The checkbox already implies that the setting is used to Enable/Disable (or On/Off, or Yes/No) some behaviour. (I know the Alarms page already does this, but read on.) Will the existing "Enable alarms notifications" setting affect whether or not alarm are sent of SNMP? Probably not, in which case you should change that setting's label to make this clear. I suggest simply "Send Alarms to enabled Notification Groups". Secondly, will the feature ever send INFORMs? If so, then definitely avoid including "trap" in the label of the new setting. But it should include "SNMP", perhaps "Send Alarms via SNMP"? For the download link can you use "Download sipXecs MIBs"? Also, please make sure this label uses the product name variable, since we will want it to use "SCS" in the Nortel OAM release. Thanks.

As we are supporting just snmp version V2 at this point we are only left with: 1.One field to configure(Enable SNMP Agent, Fig-2). 2.One link to download (Download SipXecs MIB's ,Fig-2) Thought of removing the separate web page for snmp & moving above 2 items to Alarm's page as shown in the screenshot 'snmp_config_in_alarm_page.JPG' http://track.sipfoundry.org/browse/XX-6870 Currently 'Enable alarm notifications' checkbox in Alarms web page enables/disables both sms & email & having Alarm Trap Notification enable/disable too will have better usability.
