Hi all, XX-7106 got me to thinking... Can we effect changes to a user's configured MOH Audio Source without restarting the user's phone(s)?
Having to restart the phone is inconvenient. Even more so for phones that do not implement the "update" from sipXconfig, and must be manually restarted. Arjun tells me that some changes already require only an alias.xml update, and that the same could be accomplished for the rest as well. (Though the alias.xml file size would grow...) I propose that each user be configured with a single MOH URL, and that configuration changes would simply result in modified alias.xml mappings. Thus the need to restart phones when a user's MOH Audio Source is changed would be eliminated.
