Actually, I like the behavior that you describe for the 3.2 phone
firmware better - this is how the old Pingtel phones behaved.  It has
the nice quality for me as a call 'rejector' that the caller can't
distinguish between falling back to voicemail because I was really not
there and falling back because I rejected the call: the timing is the
same.
