The most current version of sip displayed on the Nortel customer support
website is 2.2 for SIP. They show 3.4 for Unistem, but nothing higher for
SIP.

Will that version be bundled in the future release of sipXecs 4.2?

That is expected for that version of F/W. Its either 3.0 or 3.2 that
supports multiline

I've updated a Nortel 1140e phone from Unistem to the SIP stack, running
SIP-2.2-1140E as the device files in sipXecs 4.1.xxxx. The phone appears
to only support one line, or at least that is what the line indicates under
the configuration screen for the phone - "Maximum Supported Lines: 1"

Is that an expected result for this phone, as it is a six line phone as
advertised? Or a bug that needs to be written up? I may not be running
the minimum version required for sipXecs, not sure exactly what version is
required for this model for sipXecs 4.1.xxxx or beyond.
