I thought User IDs, Aliases, and IM IDs all had to be unique? Not aliases. Any number of users can have the same alias. It's possible that sipXconfig has been enforcing a restriction on this that really didn't need to be enforced (and would be quite limiting). For example, if you want a particular DID to ring at two different users phones, the easiest way to configure that would be to assign that DID as an alias for both users. >From My experience, Sipxconfig doesn't allow you to assign the same alias to more than one user. I don't think this example can be implemented, at least not in 4.0.4. _______________________________________________ sipx-dev mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-dev Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-dev sipXecs IP PBX -- http://www.sipfoundry.org/
