Logged in to the end user portal and moved an UNHEARD message from the
INBOX
to SAVED folder. As a result, MWI stopped glowing when I rebooted the
corresponding phone.
I have two queries :
1. Should the MWI stop glowing, if an UNheard message is moved to
Saved folder?
Yes, that's what I expect. (http://track.sipfoundry.org/browse/XX-7777)
2. If the answer for my first question is YES, then why the phone
needs a
reboot to stop MWI?
Sorry Sathya, I missed that aspect of XX-7777.
My expected result is that the phone MWI starts as soon as there is an
unheard message in the Inbox, and stops as soon as there are no unheard
messages. Regardless of whether the change is due to moving, listening,
deletion, or deposit.
Any objections to a specific JIRA on this part, if the observed result
does not match?
