Hi All, This was the behavior observed on the various phones now that XX-5643 is resolved. Polycom: (firmware - 3.2.2.0477) ------------- - Polycom1 calls Polycom2. Answer the call from Polycom2 and perform a consultative transfer to AA, that is, 1. from Polycom2, press 'transfer' and dial AA a. The AA prompt is played from Polycom2 b. MOH is heard from Polycom1 2. from Polycom2, press 'transfer' again to complete consultative transfer Issues seen here: a. AA prompt playing from Polycom1 for the first time is incomplete ("your call is answered by an automated communication system. if you know your party's extention you may dial it at any time.") - This is an incomplete prompt. - At this prompt if an extension is entered, the transfer happens successfully. b. Suppose you do not interact when the AA prompt is played for the first time --->the prompt repeats for 2nd time. Prompt is complete. - An extension entered at this prompt is not accepted. "That extension is not valid" is the message which is played. Transfer to extension fails. - The same issue is seen if an extension is entered when the AA promt repeats for the 3rd time. c. the transfer controller - Polycom2 continues to be on hold. Avaya 12xx IP Deskphone (firmware - SIP12x0.01.02.11.00) ------------------------------ - Phone1 calls Phone2. Answer the call from Phone2 and perform a consultative transfer to AA, that is, 1. from Phone2, press 'Flash' and dial AA a. The AA prompt is played from Phone2 b. MOH is heard from Phone1 2. from Phone2, press 'Xfer' to complete consultative transfer Issues seen here: a. The call gets disconnected on both Phone1 and Phone2 Avaya 3456 UC client (firmware - 2.6 build 56899) -------------------------- - Phone1 calls Phone2. Answer the call from Phone2 and perform a consultative transfer to AA, that is, 1. from Phone2, press 'call then transfer' and dial AA a. The AA prompt is played from Phone2 2. from Phone2, press 'transfer' to complete consultative transfer Issues seen here: a. The AA prompt starts playing from Phone1 and the call gets disconnected on Phone1 the moment the prompt is completed (first time) Kindly let us know if external issues should be separately raised for each of the phones ?
