Hi All

While configuring Mediant ( with firmware version -6.0) ,
under advanced parameters section there was a parameter
called 'Accepted IP Addresses'
in older firmware versions and with new f/w 6.0 its been
removed from that place. Please let us know where exactly the
entry corresponding to that should be made in config ui .

Thanks,
Madhu.

Hi Madhu,

In the 6.0 f/w the 'Accepted IP Addresses' are replaced with the
proxy addresses in 'PSTN to IP Call Routing', but please let
me know if you have a requirement to add additional accepted
addresses.

Dave.

With the 5.6 plugin of config ui using "Accepted IP Addresses" available, it
was possible to specify that
Accepted IP Addresses = sut1.qantom.int sut2.qantom.int. With this setting it
was possible to selectively route the calls using dialplans in sut1 and sut2.
Now is there a way to accomplish the same using 6.0 plugin of AC. If not, IMHO
Accepted IP Addresses should be added..

Thank you ,
Naveen

With 5.6 the "Accepted IP Addresses" were used to populate the AudioCodes "Tel
to IP Routing" table Dest IP address field,
these were used when "Secure SIP Calls" was switched on since only calls from
the Dest IP addresses would be accepted.
With 6.0 the "PSTN to IP Call Routing" entries populate both the "Tel to IP
Routing" table and the "Proxy Sets Table" so
(according the the AudioCodes documentation) additional entries in the Dest IP
address field of the "Tel 2 IP Routing" table
aren't necessary when "Secure SIP Calls" is switched on. My testing indicates
this works correctly.

You're scenerio sounds a bit different; perhaps you're using "Accepted IP
Addresses" for something other than
securing SIP calls? Were you altering the "Tel to IP Routing" table from the
AudioCodes GUI so that it would route some calls
to one IP destination and some to another?

Dave.
