I would also add... If a plugin developer does not have time to capture all settings, then yes, it's their prerogative not to capture all settings, and some way to customize settings this is the least that they could do. Solving the fact admins get lost in the settings by removing settings from existence is lost effort IMHO. Managing polycom settings is no joy, so we should all thank those that keep that effort going.
