Are you saying that you see the call connected, but with no ringing?  That 
sounds like a bug.  

(I get VM upon Intercom dialing a DND'd Polycom running 3.2.3.)


And just to clarify the behaviour of the existing "Do Not Disturb" setting on 
the Call Handling screen.  It's off by default, and only affects phones with 
multiple registrations.  When on, it allows (forces?) the user to specify which 
registration to toggle each time the DND button is pressed.

There's also "Server Based Do Not Disturb" on the SIP screen.  sipXecs doesn't 
have server-based DND.  But this setting can be used to prevent DND from being 
invoked by the phone.  (When the button is pressed, the phone does nothing.)

To me, both of these fall into the "Almost never useful" category.
