I'll phase my question a different way. A minimum 1 (default 2) second delay on directed call pickups seems like an awfully high price to pay just to be certain the longest ringing is picked up when ringing calls are rolling from one target to another. In the majority of cases the first UA there will only be one ringing call. Even when there are multiple calls, it'll be rare that the first response does not identify the longest ringing. (It'll only even be a risk when "If no response" call forwarding is configured, right?) For what I've heard, customers care far more about ASAP call pickup, than guaranteed pickup of the longest ringing. (Can we even make that guarantee with a 1 or 2 second timeout?) I propose that we deliver ASAP call pickup, enabled by default. -Paul [email protected] _______________________________________________ sipx-dev mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-dev Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-dev sipXecs IP PBX -- http://www.sipfoundry.org/
