I am wondering why allowing users to reset their IM password from the IM client is disabled, and why sipX overwrites the password if a users sets it from the IM client. I enabled the option in the openfire admin console for users to change their password from the IM client and it works for a while (exact time unknown) then some passwords get set back to the original password I set for the user in sipXconfig. Is sipX or openfire doing this? BTW the reason I want users to be able to change their passwords is because it's a lot easier to change it in the IM program than navigating through the sipX portal to change the IM password
