If there is an issue with the reliability of the proxy it should be documented and a jira turned in. In order ti get rls involved it has to interact with the proxy and cdr in the suggested rls method, at which point you probably start making this service unreliable or unworkable or worse. If the proxy is doing something wrong, fix it. Working another "pretty much" unrelated service into the picture just sounds messy. What does the proxy show (siptrace) when the pickup fails?
