Hi all,
I noticed presence with the cisco SPA9xx series was not possible with sipXecs, and started looking why. I found out the cisco SPA9xx is not keeping up with the RFC4235 standard. I found a post on the cisco forum from some time ago: https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2006931?tstart=0&viewcondensed This person claims cisco does try to work according to the standard but uses event: call-info instead of dialog. Now my question, since we really want presence to work on these phones, and hacking in the cisco firmware is not really possible. Is there a way to make some sort of plugin or add-on to sipXecs which can change this message into a RFC4235 compliant sip message, or just accept this as being a correct sip message? Any help or points into the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Henry Dogger Telecats BV
