Hi Douglas, Currently we are not facing any troubles with these phones in production. Have used Linksys (and now cisco's) for a very long time with asterisk before. So I guess and could answer your question with a yes...
But is my understanding correct that all the cisco phone is doing wrong (presence wise) using the wrong event type? The subscribe is as follows: Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 192.168.39.142:5060;branch=z9hG4bK-62658b74 From: "Jan Rietveld" <sip:[email protected]>;tag=86f6aabef549a0d7 To: <sip:[email protected]> Call-ID: [email protected] CSeq: 1002 SUBSCRIBE Max-Forwards: 70 Authorization: Digest username="382",realm="voip.office.caiw.intern",nonce="c398ef7c7be0b03797 42b9604174b16f4dd1238d",uri="sip:[email protected]",algorithm= MD5,response="b8f09889f22108a11a57d1ba289fa862",qop=auth,nc=00000001,cno nce="b6ff6545" Contact: "Jan Rietveld" <sip:[email protected]:5060>;+sip.instance="<00000000-0000-0000-0000-C8 9C1D6D6B01>" Expires: 2147483647 Event: message-summary User-Agent: Cisco/SPA504G-7.4.3 Content-Length: 0 And is followed by a forbidden... If Cisco would change "Event: message-summary" to "Event: dialog", would this solve the issue? We already are looking into ways on solving this with cisco. Thanks in advance! Are you happy with the cisco phones otherwise? Have you used these loaded with SIP in production for enough to be able to overlook their other deficiencies related to SIP support? I ask because many have given up on them. _______________________________________________ sipx-dev mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-dev/ _______________________________________________ sipx-dev mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-dev/
