We are working on a local and remote NAT traversal feature that will be
part of the sipXecs 4.0 baseline. That feature will address the problem
being described here. Some aspects of the feature are based on the
sipXbridge but is being offered as a general solution that will also
work for non-SIP trunk calls.

Stay tuned.

Cheers,
bob

You need something to do NAT traversal for the far end phones...

See the section on how to traverse firewalls at
http://sipx-wiki.calivia.com/index.php/SipX_HOWTO_Library

The best option in a released form at this point is an Ingate
Siparator (www.ingate.com) with the far-end NAT traversal option,
OpenSBC (www.opensipstack.org) or go beta with the 3.11.x code and test
sipxBridge (although that might only be for sip trunking at this
point... not sure).
