Crafton-

I, too, use a GXW-4104 and haven't experienced the issue you are
reporting (using different phones, however).

I would recommend increasing the log level in the 4104 to DEBUG and
point it to your local syslog server (making requisite changes to
syslog.conf to log the messages). IIRC, the 4104 uses the syslog USER
facility so you'll want an entry similar to:

user.*
/var/log/sipxpbx/grandstream.log

in syslog.conf on your syslog server.

FWIW, I have found that the gateway will typically provide enough info
in the syslog messages for you to determine what's going on. As a last
resort, however, running wireshark on the ethernet segment the gateway
is attached to will most certainly let you dissect the aborted call
traffic.

Hope this helps/

        Hi Mike:

Just an update, I actually get audio for about 2 seconds then
the call gets dropped.

Yes they are all on the same network. I'm using Linksys

Are your phone, pbx and gateway all on the same
network?

                        What kind of phone?

                        Hi:

I'm using sipX 3.10 and grandstream GXW-4104 FXO
gateway. I can make outgoing calls to the PSTN just fine, however when
I'm trying to receive an incoming call the auto attendant picks up,
directs my call as it should, the local extension rings but I get no
audio. Then after a few seconds the call is dropped. Has anyone
experienced beaviour like this?
