I don’t need a redundant ACD, for reasons of capability (50 agents, 30 simultaneous calls) I need two ACD servers. The distribution of calls is done by the Audiocodes gateway.
Can I have more than one server in a distributed system? In the 4.0 release, will the capability of the ACD be the same? We have different scenarios: Scenario A: 1. Agent puts the client call on hold 2. Agent calls to extension where the call will be transfer to. 3. The server response with 408 Time out Scenario B: 1. Agent puts the client call on hold 2. Agent calls to extension where the call will be transfer to. 3. The server response with 500 Internal server error Scenario C: 1. Agent puts the client call on hold 2. Agent calls to extension where the call will be transfer to. 3. The extension response and the call is established 4. Agent puts on hold the second call (extension) 5. The agent transfer the agent call 6. The server response with 408 Time out Scenario D: 1. Agent puts the client call on hold 2. Agent calls to extension where the call will be transfer to. 3. The extension response and the call is established 4. Agent puts on hold the second call (extension) 5. The agent transfer the agent call 6. The second call gets disconnected With one server these issues don´t happen.
