No we are running 5.3 on both gateways we are terminating the pri on the 4560 gateway and right now using the sipx to call forward the did number to the gateway 4118 with 4 of the fxs ports plugged inot the faxfinder. Thanks Chris

This means they can't detect the DID dialed to them. Patton was considering adding a function to dial "after" a connect was made. If not, this would need a DID-to-analog adapter between the FXS device and the fax device. What the gateway needs to be able to do is to pickup and then dial, instead of dial then try to connect. I am sure the GA release firmware of 5.4 doesn't address it. Do you have a pre-release that does? >>> "McCoy, Chris" <[email protected]> 05/08/09 10:38 AM >>> I will give that a try, Thanks Chris -----Original Message----- From: Tony Graziano [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, May 08, 2009 10:37 AM To: McCoy, Chris; [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [sipx-users] patton gateways I typically do this WITH the pbx in the way, because it IS easier. the PBX does not negotiate the media. I just create a phantom user with the DID in sipx, disable voicemail then forward it to the num...@ipaddress of the other gateway. >>> milosz <[email protected]> 05/08/09 10:33 AM >>> i recommend you email patton support about this, esp. since it is not a sipx issue.
