Thanks for the feedback and advice. Since you think the audio volume is also
low, that reduces the odds of us having a defective phone. I have since
turned on the volume persistence. I think we're now OK with the handset
volume.

Unfortunately, we still have a problem with the speakerphone volume at 100%.
I was looking into the Polycom admin guide and found some advanced features
for audio gain. I was wondering if I changed something like
"voice.gain.rx.analog.chassis" or "voice.gain.rx.digital.chassis", if it
would allow the volume to be louder. Polycom recommends not to change these
settings, and not surprisingly, they're not available in sipXecs, but I was
thinking of giving it a shot (I probably shouldn't, since I have no clue
about this stuff). I'm guessing I can test this by adding the gain setting
directly to the sip config file for the phone (near the volume section) and
then pushing it to the phone. I also assume that this change will be lost
whenever I make a change in the sipXecs UI. Any comments before I give this
a try?

I'd still really like to know if there's a difference between the 320/330s
and any of the higher end models in terms of volume level of the
speakerphone.

Thanks to all who have given feedback and advice so far. I appreciate all of
your comments.

Regards,
Tim
