AND-- If your local numbers are 7 digits and you have only one area code, you can put in a dialing rule to add the area code to your 7 digit numbers so you dont have to input that at the keypad every time you make a local call in lieu of "any number of digits".

Make sure you aren't dialing the 1 and that you don't have a prefix for 1 set up anywhere (gateway or dial plan). Also check the external number length in the dial plan (should be set to 10 or "any number of digits", depending on your other dial plans and how you want it to work, for testing, set it to any number of digits). To make sure no other dial plans are interfering, don't treat the prefix as optional, make sure there are no other dial plans with the same prefix, and make sure you use the prefix when dialing out. </[email protected]> _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-users sipXecs IP PBX -- http://www.sipfoundry.org/
