(hint:  if you are using centos 5.2 you need tofind this rpm at a centos mirror 
site and install it first, 

and let it get dependencies, but really, it's a linux "how do i", the , and if 
you get hung up getting x to run, it would be a good idea to install a base 
linux os with "X" and almost nothing else, then letting sipx install via 
repo/yum).

You won't break sipx using mc. My instructions are valid. Its the same as 
installing mc on a system without x. That's your path.

I've installed mc on countless systems and used the ISO to install sipxecs and 
don't want to break it. That's why I specifically asked if there was a repo I 
could safely use to install, then perhaps remove the repo once done so that I 
don't break anything :).

This is a sipxecs question, not a linux one.
