I pretty much only ever install centos disk1 when I install and remove 
everything, do a very basic install, then from there, install anything I need 
for that particular server. I've never seen x being pulled in by yum to install 
mc but I think there are some other support files that do get pulled in. Not 
many though, certainly not a full x install.

If you want, I can always update this thread once I get it figured out and 
again, thanks for the input.
