Hi Daniel,

I suggest you call a SipX-attached phone from OCS 2007 first. Simply create a
SipX User and use, for example, X-Lite to connect. Specify a number from your
internal number pool as the alias for the SipX user; use a number that is not
assigned to any OCS user or contact object. Your OCS route(s) should route that
number to SipX. SipX should then route the call to the X-Lite client
independent of any dial plans or authorization on dial plans. See if that works
without the 407.

One more thing. If the two IP addresses of your OCS 2007 mediation server are
from the same network segment, you run the risk of OCS 2007 using the wrong IP
address for communication with SipX. You must make sure that the OCS 2007
mediation server always uses the IP address that you specified for the
"gateway" side on OCS, which must also be the IP address you specified on the
Sipx SIP Trunk Gateway for the OCS mediation server. You can do this by way of
the "route add" command.

Regards,

Stephan
