Turned on logging in BIND to see what the Aastra was querying for:
She boots, queries NTP, finds the TFTP host, and then tries to look for
an A record instead of the SRV records:
Nov 27 18:36:02 dns named[1080]: client 172.16.0.137#1024: query:
pool.ntp.org IN A +
Nov 27 18:36:05 dns named[1080]: client 172.16.0.137#1026: query:
pbx-1.mydomain.tld IN A +
Nov 27 18:36:17 dns named[1080]: client 172.16.0.137#1036: query:
mydomain.tld IN A +
"No Service" on the LCD.
Now, when I use nslookup and look for the SRV record, it works great:
Nov 27 18:36:35 dns named[1080]: client 172.16.0.50#60821: query:
_sip._udp.mydomain.tld IN SRV +
Do I need to TELL the Aastra to use DNS-SRV records?
