The memory use by Sun's JRE is kicking my ass still... I don't
understand why it needs so much goddamned VIRT memory allocated. I know
this isn't specifically sipx, but a java issue. (The problem is I am
using OpenVZ, which is a container-style virtualization platform. It
can't present swap space to a container. So, everything is "real"
memory, more or less.)
I'd use VMware ESXi for these but I don't want the lack of a timing
source screwing up the conferencing system. Plus, I've already
experienced general media server weirdness running my test environment
in VMware Workstation (such as stuttering playback, etc).
Thoughts?
