DND is purely local to the phone - the SIP routing elements are not aware of it and just send any call regardless. > I’ve seen a feature called “Server Based DND” – any ideas on exactly > what this is? Can’t seem to find much in the way of details on it. There is a very rough proposal in the IETF for a set of HTTP RESTful interfaces that a UA (phone) or other external application could use to manipulate call handling in a server. We're watching it, but the proponents have not been very active lately. > I haven’t played with the new XMPP features yet for the next release. > Anyone know if DND will be displayed for users in the XMPP features? One of the proposed features was the ability to manipulate routing in the server by setting special values in your XMPP status, but I'm not sure what the implementation status of those features is - Peter? _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-users sipXecs IP PBX -- http://www.sipfoundry.org/
