I can field that one.  The new XMPP feature being roled into the 4.2
release has some level of integration WRT the DND feature.  Here is how
it works.  If a given user has his 'Voicemail on DnD' preference set in
sipXconfig then when that user changes his XMPP presence state to 'Do
not disturb' from his XMPP client, SIP calls made to that user will go
directly to voicemail and none of his SIP phones will ring and none of
his call forwarding rules will be followed.

However, placing a SIP phone like your polycom in DND state will have no
effect on that user's advertized XMPP presence state.  This is due to
the fact that SIP phones implement the DND feature entirely inside the
phone and the servers are oblivious to it.
