We worked with an ODM to design a fan-less "appliance". We use it for all of our SipX deployments as well other "appliance" deployments we do. I've attached an image. So while our device is unique, ...the components are really standard x86 hardware with a solid state drive and secondary internal flash device for backups. Prior to using our own design we used Aopen XC mini's, but we were too limited on performance and maxed out at only 2GB of ram. I think the new versions now do 4GB. And of course we wanted more reliability with a fanless full solid state unit. But they did work well and the form factor is great. -M
