I think I was using sipxconfig, set up first line, 'add external line',
fill in some info.
I think part of my problem was I wanted to 'test' it by trying to make
an outbound call.
I would still think that using tcpdump I would see the phone try to sent
packets outbound, trying to register with the remote IP PBX.
(oh, and thanks. the polycom, once it got 3.13RevC firmware on it 'just
worked'. one of the easyest setups I have seen)
so, where to I start to look to see why it won't register with remote?
