I had somebody contact me with a registration problem that I'm trying to track down and figure out...
System is 4.0.4 from ISO. Sitting on outside world at PBX side (no firewall... scary). System is setup for the SIP domain as A records (again, not my install...) xLite registers fine If I try registering a Linksys SPA921 phone with proper userid and password it doesn't register (401). The only think really funky is that the sipX box is sending back the WWW-Authenticate field with the servers domain and not sending back the SIP domain (which is the A record of the box).
