I've often thought we should get a place on the wiki for feature bounties. Its
a very popular thing to do in the asterisk world if you feel a feature is
important....pony up some money.

I understand that with the bulk of development being done by Avaya employee's a
bounty is a bit like moonlighting. However, some of the features like ACD are
really about moving to a freeswitch backend, which could mean a larger
development base.

I could right now offer at a least $1000 bounty for someone to get a decent
freeswitch based ACD(or fix the current ACD but it sounds like thats a dead
end), into the main tree.

I realize that wasn't directed at me Scott...

The only thing that burns me is when things disappear from the tracker
that are important (ie., ACD) without discussion or notification. Maybe
somebody else would have picked up development of the ACD in FreeSwitch.
IMHO It's one of the items still holding this product back.

I do realize that Avaya's objectives may be different than corporate
sponsors in the past. And please don't take my comments as being
unappreciative. I've put a lot of time into this project and just want
to see it succeed.

Mike
