If you had a grandstream-only environment you could just use the page 
function built into the phones. To use it, activate a line by pressing 
it's button, then press the menu button. This causes the display to say 
"PAGE" instead of "DIAL" at which point you would dial the number you 
want to page.

Since you have Aastra phones too this probably won't do you any good.

I'm sorry you have to deal with Grandstream phones. I fought with them 
(and Grandstream support) for over a year before finally giving up and 
convincing my employer to buy Polycom phones. A word of advice: don't 
expect presence to ever work, and expect to have to reboot phones that 
dial into the auto attendant and use the dial by name directory. REFER 
makes them do weird things. To show you what I mean:

Dial the auto attendant, then dial any user's extension.
After the "please hold while I transfer your call" prompt the phone will 
activate a second line, putting the first one on hold. Immediately hang 
the phone up. Your first line will now be "stuck" on hold with no way to 
fix it other than rebooting.
