I'm glad you got it! >error: %post(sipxconfig-ftp-4.2.0-018575.i386) scriptlet failed, exit status
I had the same error, and haven't had any problems. The final solution wasn't quite as simple as you suggested, but it did lead me down a path that ultimately resolved the issue. Here were the steps I performed to finally be able to upgrade to v4.2: 1.) From the ISA Server Management Interface a.) Server Name --> Configuration --> General --> Define HTTP Compression Preferences b.) Settings Tab --> Removed all Network Elements c.) Content Types Tab --> Changed Radio Button from "Compress all content types except selected" to "Compress the selected content types only" with NONE of the check boxes below that selected d.) Content Inspection Tab --> Unchecked the box for "Decompress incoming packets. . ." e.) Clicked OK 2.) yum update sipXecs = still no joy. . . 3.) Back to the ISA Server Management Interface a.) Server Name --> Configuration --> Cache --> Cache Rules --> Default Rule --> Properties b.) HTTP Tab --> Unchecked "Enable HTTP caching" c.) FTP Tab --> Unchecked "Enable FTP caching" 4.) yum update sipXecs = still no joy. . . 5.) yum clean all --> restarted CentOS server 6.) Stopped and restarted the ISA Firewall Service 7.) yum makecache 8.) yum update sipXecs = Success (finally) !!! With one exception noted below a.) One update error (edited for the sake of brevity): Running Transaction ------------------------------- SNIP -------------------------------------- Updating : sipxconfig-ftp 9/78 error: %post(sipxconfig-ftp-4.2.0-018575.i386) scriptlet failed, exit status 1 Updating : sipxconfig-tftp 10/78 ------------------------------- SNIP -------------------------------------- At some point I'll probably start another thread to determine if this is an error that I need to address. Thanks again for leading me in the right direction! Cheers! Error: failure: repodata/primary.xml.gz from sipxecs-stable: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try. I've searched the Internets for possible solutions and tried them all to no avail. Below I've included the output of one of about 100 different SSH sessions to illustrate in more detail what I've tried as well as the results from the attempt.
