Did you ever find a fix to this? I'm curious if so because I will be updating to 4.2 tonight (I use audiocodes gateways) and I was hoping I would be able to fix this before it was ever a problem.

I would compare the config from before after.
The thing is that I made no changes to the AudioCodes between 4.0.4 and 4.2.
I did not install the configuration generated by 4.2.
Upgrading to 5.8 puts you into a version not many people have seen, so if you want to add insult to injury when AC adds functions not supported and you can't find anyone to answer, then... go ahead?
I was asking about installing 5.6 because I have that firmware and it is supported.

I was thinking of creating an account on voip.ms first because the AudioCodes is my only external connection
and if it stopped working I would be up the creek without a paddle.

    Commenting on my own post:
I called from one extension to another and the voicemail recorded
    over
    20 seconds and
did not disconnect. So the Gateway appears to be the culprit.
Gerald Drouillard said he was having the same problem with a
    google/gizmo gateway.
So, should I upgrade the AudioCodes firmware?
