Generally phones on the same LAN that have echo are victims of either bad
cabling, bad switching equipment, lack of QoS, or a combination of all
three. It's not an easy problem to solve.

Unfortunately echo is not something you can just "turn off". It something
that can be minimized but not eliminated due to the nature of VoIP.
