Thanks for your responses.
I tried with x-lite and got the same result. [email protected]
<mailto:[email protected]> works with both x-lite and the 3cx softphone.
I then tried a different ITSP and it didn't work. It appears that my
ITSP was connecting the call as [email protected]
<mailto:[email protected]> instead of [email protected]
<mailto:[email protected]>. This explains why it appeared that
the inbound DID SIP URI was working, but not the extensions.
yes, this is as expected, a SRV call to myitsp.com includes the pointer
to sip.myitsp.com and port 5080.
I then tested with port 5080 (e.g. [email protected]:5080
<http://[email protected]:5080>) and the call went through.
It will not go through port 5060. Is this normal for inbound SIP URI
calls?
