I then tried a different ITSP and it didn't work. It appears that my ITSP was connecting the call as [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> instead of [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>. This explains why it appeared that the inbound DID SIP URI was working, but not the extensions.
yes, this is as expected, a SRV call to myitsp.com includes the pointer to sip.myitsp.com and port 5080.


I then tested with port 5080 (e.g. [email protected]:5080 <http://[email protected]:5080>) and the call went through. It will not go through port 5060. Is this normal for inbound SIP URI calls?
