Maybe not exactly. Once a call is established it communicates with the proxy on 5060. ============================ Tony Graziano, Manager Telephone: 434.984.8430 Fax: 434.984.8431

It usually happens with 'static' registration, since with user/password registration, sipx will register 'from' port 5080 (unless your firewall is munging it). Firewalls don't understand sip on 5080, so you have to turn off ALL 'helpers'. if the provider will change the port, thats best. if not, you will need to re-direct it, in and out via a firewall or router. -- Michael Scheidell, CTO Phone: 561-999-5000, x 1259 > *| *SECNAP Network Security Corporation * Certified SNORT Integrator * 2008-9 Hot Company Award Winner, World Executive Alliance * Five-Star Partner Program 2009, VARBusiness * Best in Email Security,2010: Network Products Guide * King of Spam Filters, SC Magazine 2008 ______________________________________________________________________ This email has been scanned and certified safe by SpammerTrap(r).
