Otto There is a list of clients here. Finding one on Linux with BLF support based on resource lists (RLS) could be difficult. http://www.ezuce.com/ezuce-communicator
Why don't you use an XMPP client? There is presence federation so that you can see 'on the phone' status in the XMPP client provided the user is logged in to his/her XMPP client. --martin -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Otto Berger Sent: Friday, August 06, 2010 4:31 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [sipx-users] Linux Softphone with presence/BLF Hi all, i'm new to sipxecs and playing around with it a few weeks now and i got it working pretty well (not productive yet) at our company. We use primary the snom 370 phones. BLF works quite well with these phones... Now i'm looking for a softphone on linux that have a BLF ability... I tried Sip-Communicator and the beta of the Bria Linux client. The Bria-Linux-Client doesnt support any of the presence features that the windows client have. Sip-Communicator seems to have a presence feature ("peer to peer") that IMO should work, but it cant get it working... any comments on BLF and Linux-Softphones out there? regards Otto _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/ _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/
