Many itsp's do ip based and include port.

You can send to voip.ms with ip based. Their Director of Technical Services
I'd working with me to try to give me the other half of the solution.

I suppose if I get it working I'll consider sharing...

Realize ITSP's who offer IP based AUTH TYPICALLY offer port assignments as
well.

Just not the old stodgy carriers who are protecting their turf.

Sorry you feel this way though.

At least sipx is evolving, and developing so it can be more flexible.

(but then again, I guess they are inflexible too. as is att, verizon..

give it up guys.  if you want to play in the real world, you need to be
the ones who conform.  you can't blame it always on cisco, then polycom,
then the itsp, then the firewall.
